Despite all our reservations, we have sold up in inner city Melbourne and we are building yet again, but this time in suburbia. I want to document the process and this is the easiest way to do it. So if there are blogs that I should be reading, let me know!
As it stands we have not decided on a builder, but we have a number of restrictions. We are looking for a two story 37squares+ with double garage:
- block still needs to be subdivided
- block is not a greenfield site
- plans need to have a maximum width of 11.5m
- Upstairs main bedroom separated from the other rooms.
- Mummy would like a walk in pantry
- Daddy would like a mancave ..
